I received my First postcard from Palestine , it was sent in december 20 , 2014 from Hebron (Al-Khalil in arabic), a city located in the southern West Bank , It is the largest city in the West Bank, and the second largest in Palestine after Gaza , this postcard shows The Cave of the Patriarchs ,known by Muslims as the Sanctuary of Abraham or the Ibrahimi Mosque , it is a a series of subterranean chambers located in the heart of the old city of Hebron (Al-Khalil) in the Hebron Hills. According to tradition that has been associated with both the Torah and the Quran, the cave and adjoining field were purchased by Abraham as a burial plot.
the stamps was issued by Palestine Post in January 2014 , it is from the stamp series "Palestinian Police Day 2013" originally planned for 1.07.2013. The issue was designed by Palestine Post in conjuction with printers Oriental Security Printing Solution, Bahrain. Denominations is: 250 Mils (stamps) .
